Our 3/4" and 1-1/4" Blue/Gray Gravel is produced from high-quality basalt stone sourced from our quarry. Both products are crushed and blended with a binder to create a tighter-compacting gravel. When first installed, the gravel will have a slight brownish tint due to the added binder. This is normal and will gradually wash away from the surface after the first few rainfalls, revealing the natural blue/gray color of the basalt. Both products meet Wisconsin DOT specifications.
This product is made from high-quality basalt stone sourced from our quarry. It contains no added binder and is 100% crushed basalt, with particle sizes ranging from a maximum of 3.5 inches down to fine material produced during the crushing process. This material is commonly used as a base for roads, driveways, and other construction projects.
Our 3/4" and 1-1/4" Brown Gravel is made from natural stone and is crushed with a binder to create a tighter-compacting surface. Unlike our Quarry Blue/Gray Gravel, this product retains its natural brown color after installation. Both products meet Wisconsin DOT specifications.
